CHNO has taken on many projects to help improve the quality and value of the neighborhood by featuring trash pickup days, canned food drives, a community garden and other activities that allow members of the community to get to know one another.
Membership is $10 per calendar year per adult. This money is used to help the community and pay for supplies needed in projects. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month at the Arlington Heights Baptist Church at 16th and Audubon at 7:00 p.m. The goal of the organization is working together to make the Eastside a better place to live, work, shop, and play.
