Committees

Organizational Support – The committee is responsible for planning the monthly meetings, annual meeting including gathering nominations and running elections) and scheduling guest speakers throughout the year. They also oversee the website, general mailing list and membership. Email: organizationalsupport@community-heights.org.

Finance – This committee is responsible for overseeing the financial matters of the organization. Email: finance@community-heights.org.

Business Outreach and Land Use – This committee is responsible for creating and maintaining positive, reciprocal relationships with local businesses and for monitoring the use of land within neighborhood boundaries (eg land variance requests by local businesses). Community Service – This committee is responsible for identifying and planning community service projects that help the community. An example of a community service project is the Christmas Toy drive program, and the Community Garden. Email: communityservice@community-heights.org.

Special Projects/Events – This committee is responsible for identifying and planning special projects that help to further the mission of the organization. An example of a special project is the IUPUI Community Mapping Project. Email: specialprojects@community-heights.org.
